Order list analytics

See what guests add to their order list — how many items a day, at what time, which dishes, and what each phone put together. Pro plan.

Order list analytics

On the Pro plan, guests can tap Add on any dish to build an order list on their phone, then show it to your staff when they order. The list stays on the guest's phone: Azcarte never takes the order or the payment.

Each time a guest adds a dish, Azcarte also counts it, so you can see what guests were about to order, even if they changed their mind.

Where to see it

  1. Account → Advanced interface (built for a larger screen; a laptop is easier than a phone here).
  2. Open Analytics. The order list figures are below the menu views:
    • Items added: today and over the last 30 days, and the average number of items per list.
    • Items added to baskets — last 30 days: one bar per day.
    • Basket adds by time of day: when guests add dishes, in your venue's own time zone. Useful for spotting your real rush hours.
    • Most added to baskets: the dishes guests pick most often.
    • Recent baskets: one row per phone per day, such as 2× Fresh orange juice, 5× Burger.
    • Baskets shown to the waiter: how many lists guests showed with Show to the waiter, how many a waiter scanned into a table order, and when the last scan was.

What is and isn't counted

  • Every Add counts, on the menu, on the dish page, and the + inside the list. Removing an item is not counted, so the figures show what guests wanted, not what they paid for.
  • Guests stay anonymous. A phone is shown as a short label like #3f9a2c, which changes every day. You can see that one phone added seven items, but never who held it, and you can't follow the same guest from one day to the next.
  • Counting never slows the menu down. If a phone is offline, the dish still goes on the list; that add just isn't counted.

Turning the order list off

Open Account → Advanced interface → My Venue → Edit, and under Guest features turn off Order list. The Add buttons disappear from your menu, and so does showing the list to the waiter. It's on by default.
