Assisted translation
Assisted translation
Assisted translation takes your menu's source language and fills in another language for you — sections, products, variants and add-ons in a single run.
Open it from Home → Menu actions → Assisted translation.
Running it
- Check Source language. This is what it translates from — normally your menu's original language.
- Pick Translate to.
- Tap Translate menu.
It runs in the background. You can leave the page and go back to editing; the translations appear as they land.
When it finishes you get a count of what it covered — how many sections, products, variants and add-on groups.
What it overwrites
Existing translations in the target language are replaced. Your source content is never touched.
If you have hand-corrected a few dishes in French and then run assisted translation into French again, those corrections are overwritten. The onboarding version of this screen warns you before it does — "Some of these languages already have translations. Running again will replace them with new AI-generated content."
Monthly allowance
Runs are metered per month, and the screen shows Uses this month.

The allowance resets on the 1st of each month. When you have used it up you will see "Monthly limit reached. Resets on the 1st."
On the Free plan the feature is not available at all — the screen offers an upgrade instead.
Checking the result
Machine translation is good, not perfect, and menus are full of things it cannot know: house names for dishes, regional ingredients, brand names, jokes. Read through the result before you make a language Visible to guests, and fix anything odd on the Languages tab of the product.
